Best sling for hip carrying

My 9mo DD is being a little clingy at the moment (object permanence regression and a bout of tonsillitis) and I need to get stuff done but she is a bit screamy if I don’t carry her all the time! I have an Ergobaby carrier but it's a bit heavy duty for around the house and we didn't get on with the freerider sling. Does anyone have any recommendations to save my arms (and allow me to get on with some work while carrying a sizeable baby - she's 11kg!)

Have your tried back Carrie's with your Ergo? Once I'd got the hang of getting my kids on my back I found that the easiest way for me to have my hands free. Also stopped them being able to reach whatever I was doing.

For hip carriers I used a a short woven wrap or a hippy chick seat. Even with the wrap I never truly felt hands free though.

Hadn't thought about that - good point! I'll give it a go! Thank you!

Connecta/ integra are really easy for quick hip carries.

With my 2nd and 3rd I loved a ring sling, easy and quick to get in and out and you can position your DD so she's more to your front or more on your hip. I used mine from birth until nearly 3
