Hi. Anyone know of a back carrier (for 18month old) suitable for a short person. Most of the ones I've looked at or tried are for people over 5ft 2in. Any advice appreciated.

Have you tried a sling library? You can usually hire before you buy as different carriers suit different people. Many are doing postal hires too.

At that age we used a toddler connecta carrier which we still occasionally use now at almost 4. Is really comfy and packs down very small when they want to walk so easy to keep in the bag for emergencies.

This is going back a few years so there may be better options now, but I got a Beco Gemini after doing lots of research on slings for petite mums (I am 5’3 and small framed on the top half at least!!) It fit me really well.
I remember using it as a back carrier with DD age 2.5.
