Does anyone have any experience with this type of carrier?

I find wraps too much of a faff but am drawn to the gorgeous fabrics.
My go-to carrier is a Conecta solar, which I love. I would like a second carrier as I find it better varying what I use. I've tried Ergo and Tula are ok but I don't find the big padded waistbands comfy for long periods, so I was thinking of trying a Mei Tei, then wondered if a half-buckle would be easier (I was specifically loking at the Didymos Klick but I can't really tell how chunky the waistband is).

I'm petite with a short torso and live somewhere with hot summers, am I going to end up swamped in metres of fabric? Are they supportive? Baby is 3 months old.

It doesn’t answer your question directly so apologies but I’ve had lots of buckles and Mei tais in the past and all have their pros and cons. I’m currently unable to wrap due to a dodgy shoulder means I can’t tighten properly so bought a new buckles. I’ll link.
It’s stretchy fabric, not too bulky like other buckles, massively adjustable and the shoulder straps can be spread like a Mei tai or wrap, adding to the comfort. Might be close to what you’re trying to achieve

mamaruga.com/our-products/zensling/zensling-zensling/ they also make a wrap conversion but obviously that wouldn’t be stretchy so mightn’t be as great

Sorry Gookledy, I didn't realise I had any replies. If anyone's interested in future I ended up with a Didytai and it's super comfy.
