Help please .... I don’t want my 5 week old overheating or getting too cold ... what should I be putting her in?

It's tricky because it depends on the temperature where you're wearing her. I'd just check her temperature regularly with your hand on her back, she should feel warm but not hot. Remember, too hot is worse than too cold, for the most part. I didn't use a carrier until I was now confident with how hot she should feel and had more head control, don't feel pressure to use it if you're not happy yet.
