Mei tai for newborn

I'm expecting dc2 later this year.

I already have a manduca and ring sling I used with DS. When he was a newborn we had a borrowed kari-me stretchy wrap. DP loved it but I never really got on with it.

I'm thinking about what to use this time and was wondering about a mei tai at first. I like the idea of something less bulky than the manduca but without loads of fabric. I didn't get the ring sling until DS was older so am not sure how that will work with a newborn either.

Any advice or suggestions?

I used a Mei tei from new born and loved it. I used it up until about 18 months . I would recommend. Have you looked at the website? It will show you the best way to carry a newborn.
