Been using a Beco Soleil with DS and love it but I'm a serious hiker (lots of mountains and uneven trails) and now that he's getting heavier and the weather's getting warmer I think we need something more structured and a bit less sweaty. Only backpack carrier that I've tried was the Deuter Kid Comfort 3 which made me so top heavy that it felt unsafe (I'm short and slim). Things aren't helped by the fact that I live in the arse-end of nowhere so will have to buy online without trying. Most of the images selling these things seem to show big blokes carrying their offspring not petite females. Anyone got any recommendations? Also need to be able to get it on and off myself.
