mei tai recommendations?

Baby number 2 due in 5 weeks. Used a number of slings and carriers with dd my favourite was my ring sling but thinking I might treat myself to a mei tai.
Mainly want it because I've got a young dog and toddler so thinking baby will not be able to be left lieing around like I did with the first ha ha.
Not got a huge budget so the cheaper the better really.

I bought it after I had seen them recommended so many times on another forum. It really is comfortable and not too expensive either. I managed to buy mine from an online sling shop but it think you can buy direct.

I also like the look of the Babyhawk but I have never tried one.

We had a baby hawk and it was great for the first 12-18m. Maybe not the very earliest weeks though.
