Which structured carrier for petite mummy?

Looking to get a carrier rather than a wrap but not sure which one would be best. I'm only 5'1 and slim build. I want to use it for my 15 month who is quite small (25% height on chart) on holiday and also for the nursery run when I collect my 3yr old so I need it to be easy to put on. There seems to be so many options I don't know where to start. Any recommendations from other petite mummies?

I'm quite small too (5'2") and went with a boba 3g. I compared all the strap lengths and this had the shortest, worked for us and for dh.

A Mei Tai is still fairly fast to put on and will fit any size.

Some makers of buckle carriers/slings will make petite shoulder straps for you, connecta and rose and rebellion are really good slings and I am fairly sure that they will do petite straps if you ask. Connecta have a shop that you can call and I have emailed R&R in the past about individual queries and they were really good.

Thanks, I tried on a friend's boba today and it was really uncomfortable, my son felt so heavy. Connecta, tula and rose rebellion look nice. managed to find a sling meet so hoping to try some more on.

The petite version of the Connecta allows the straps to be done up tighter (the padded section doesn't stretch as far along the straps) which made it much easier for me (5'4").

I would get a custom from somewhere like Madame Googoo (she's on Facebook). It's not much more than buying ready made, and you can have it made to your measurements.

I have a petite connecta and it fits very well. I'm 5"2 and size 8-10, but have a matronly bosom! Smile

Thanks all, I have ended up getting a petite connecta and am getting a custom sleepy nico made :) Love them both and very comfy

I've just bought a connecta and I'm quite petite - tried an Ergo and it was far too bulky for me, but I'm happy with the connecta. (Yet to be used with baby, however!)

I'm 5"3 and skinny, so my pitari sling is super comfy for me :) the material is soft so it doesn't dig into my shoulders :) . Maybe you should try it. Or just go to the sling library and try different ones !:)

Pognae hands down. It's like an Ergo but the problem with the Ergo is that it's crap for petite framed people. The Pognae somehow manages to fit me who is 5 foot and my husband who is almost 6 foot very comfortably.
