Is the baby bjorn balance bouncer bad for them like the carriers?

After a quick read on here a few years ago I decided my babies would never be carried in a Baby Bjorn, and my subsequent research set off a bit of a sling addiction!

I have been recommended the Baby Bjorn bouncer by so many people as the best bouncer/seat, most comfy, most likely to send them to sleep, and likely to last a very long time. I was about to order one and then it occurred to me to check the baby's position as they are held by the crotch.

So are they ok?

They're fine. You could sit them in it without needing the strap to hold them (although they could ping themselves out).
