I have acquired a second hand ergo in one of the petunia picklebottom fabrics, I looked up the instructions for the hip carry, and it says to take the middle strap that holds the two shoulder straps together off the shoulder straps at either side, but mine are fixed onto the shoulder straps. Does this mean I've bought a fake? How can I tell? Don't want to use anything dodgy
