Sunshade for sling

Does such a thing exist? DS is 4 weeks and is constantly in the sling. I've practically given up even trying the pram! However I worry that his face is exposed when it's sunny and could burn. I try to angle him away from the sun and stick to shade but it's not always possible.

Is there any kind of shade in existence that could sort of clip to the top of the sling and cover their face? I know you shouldn't cover their face with the sling but I'm envisioning some kind of breathable mesh...

A big hat. That way they are covered and can breathe. And you get to enjoy the only part of their life when you put a hat on them and it stays on easily!

Ha I recall the battle over hats with my nieces! I bought a sun hat in 0-3 months but it swamps him! As in literally covers his face! May try to get a smaller one then.

I'm not sure it'll work though as his head is usually inside the sling as he's sleeping so just his face is exposed. Although maybe the brim could still cover the front.

A hat or muslin cloth ( but careful it doesn't cover face)

Drape muslin over the top when he's sleeping?

You could go all retro and get a parasol...
