Stretchy wrap advice please

DC2 is due in August and I want to get a stretchy wrap in the hope of having hands free for my 2 year old. I've been looking at a Victoria Slinglady one and Moby wraps. There's quite a difference in price. Can anyone tell me if there is much difference between them? Thank you!

The Moby is much thicker than VSL. The VSL is quite narrow - fine for a small baby, not so good as they get bigger. That said, many people decide they want something other than a stretchy by 4-6 months anyway.

I wouldn't pick a Moby for an August baby - it is really thick and warm. My favourite stretchies are

1. Hana Baby Wrap
2. Boba Wrap Both very stretchy so easy to get a newborn in and out. The Hana is thinner, but both much more summer-newborn suitable than the Moby. I think the VSL is fine as a budget option - not as nice as either of the above nor as wide (which impacts on longevity) but totally fine for a small baby. I also really like the Wrapsody Stretch, but for different reasons. Not so easy for a newborn, but it only has one-way stretch so it tends to last until your baby is much older more comfortably. Also thin enough to be comfy for summer.

I like my VSL. DD is 4 months and pretty big (75th-91st centile for weight and height) and I don't find it too narrow at all yet but it's less comfortable than it was as there's too much give now she's heavier. We have a manduca too which is coming into its own and I'm considering a woven wrap to replace the stretchy.
