Sling/wrap/something for hot weather?

Moving to Australia for the summer there and I'll have a newborn ds and 20 month dd. I think I really need to get some kind of baby carrier. We had the baby bjorn for dd but I hated it and the ergo which we both loved but I think it will be VERY hot with the newborn insert for ds.

Any ideas? I'm leaning towards a ring sling style but open to all suggestions as long as ds won't overheat in it.

I live in china at the moment so no access to a sling library. I'll have to order now and ask family in the uk to post to me.

Thank you!

Another vote for the solarweave connecta, has been brilliant in the brief hot spell here.
I found some hair clips and a large muslin helped me shade DS's legs. Add a tie-on wide brim hat to keep his face out of the sun.

DS sweats a lot less in that than scrunched up in his car seat.

Thank you all so much.

Can you breast feed the wrap suggested?

I've just realised Blush that is probably a consideration too.

It's really easy to feed in a connecta, just loosen the shoulder straps until they are low enough to latch.
