Sling for home use

I have a sling and newborn insert which I use when I go out but I want something less bulky to use around the house. I've read tens of reviews now but have no idea what to go for. I would prefer something I can just slip on. My LO is 4weeks old and reasonably big.

TIA

I liked ring slings for round the house, pick something with an open 'tail' (bit that hangs down the front) and it is really adjustable. You can have a newborn tummy to tummy and then use it on the hip for bigger ones.

My fave brands are Maya Wrap ring slings and Storchenwiege ring slings.

Thank you Bananarama. I will have a look at prices and go with one of those.

I agree with ring sling suggestion, they are great for quick carries at home or even when popping out for a short trip. I like the look of the Neobulle ones but there are plenty of cheaper ones around if you want to try them out (Ebay is good).

A friend has recommended a Coori. Any thoughts?

I used a wrap sling. I tied it on in the morning and just popped DD in and out during the day as needed.

A coorie is a fleece pouch sling - it comes in different sizes and you have to get the right size for you. Very quick and easy, comfy if you have the right size, not good if you get one too large. Also sized-ness means tricky to swap between you and another person, or to wear with outdoor clothes if you size it for indoors.
