He'll be 2 when we use it (well we'll probably use it before that, but this is the main reason for buying it) It's for flight to NZ with a 8hr stop over. I'll be taking the buggy as well but I'm fully expecting my 3yr old to want to use that at some point so need a carrier for ds2.

I have a connecta but don't find it that comfortable.

I have looked at the ERGO but is there any other ones to consider?

I have an O'Baby Snap and it is so comfy, I still occasionally carry my almost 4yo DD in it. Padded in all the right bits.

I use a babyhawk oh snap with my 2 year old as I find the straps of the mei tai are a pain when he wants to get up and down all the time.

On a side note though (sorry for the hi jack), does anyone know if there is a toddler version of the Oh Snap? The back seems to be getting very low on ds's back and I worry he will fall backwards sometimes. I know there is a toddlerhawk but again there is a problem with the straps getting in the way.

GreenTrees well that certainly gives me a few to choose from. Grin

Tbh, as much as I love carrying him, I've haven't really ventured past the kari-me/Mei tai/connecta so it's like a whole new world for me.

Thanks to everyone else too.

ToujoursPur - There isn't a bigger version of the Oh Snap - it is one of the biggest 'standard' sized carriers out there. The toddlerhawk is narrower and no taller in that I recall so not bigger.

Have a look at things like the Rose and Rebellion preschool carrier (can buy off-the-shelf) or the various made-to-order options like www.bamberoo.hu or one of the UK makers like Softai, Kitten Creations, Opitai etc.
