Choosing a ring sling

Hi,

Does anyone have any experience of using an Ellaroo Italy Ring Sling? I?m thinking of buying one that is lightly padded for my second baby but I?m wondering if it might get a little too hot. (I was using a Moby style wrap with my first and I had to stop carrying her because we both found it too warm to wear).

I don't like padded ring slings, to be honest. The padding can get in the way of tightening well. You can add padding to the top edge by either putting a rolled up muslin, or the tail twisted up on itself, tucked into the top edge

But an Ellaroo ring sling will be heaps cooler than a Moby. There is only one layer of fabric over you and the baby instead of 2-3 with a stretchy wrap, for starters. There is a bit of a knack to ring slings though, so try and get to a sling meet, or watch several youtube videos for tips.
