Does anyone use a connecta?

If so are they any good? A friend has offered to lend me hers and she swears by it but I was thinking about getting a wrap sling because of the leg positioning for a newborn. Is the connecta a good alternative?

I love my connecta! Still use it at almost 12 months. For newborn you just need the little band that pinches the sling 'in' (it comes with it).

I used my connecta from 8 weeks old and it's still getting use at 16 months. It is a fab carrier, very easy to use on your front.

I had a solar weave and loved it too. Really comfy and DC2, who was a big baby, loved it too. Very easy to use.

Ah glad to hear it I think this will be better than a wrap for DH anyway, if he can't get it first time he won't bother. We have got a baby bjorn which we used with DS but i'm not keen on it being a 'crotch dangler'.

I love mine. Hate the baby bjorn it was uncomfortable for me when I tried it a while ago.

I liked the baby bjorn when he was small but he got very heavy very quickly and it ended up killing my back hence why I was interested in a wrap etc which distributes the weight better.
