Walking with a moby

Hi I'm new to baby wearing, well and to motherhood for that matter but anyway. It says of the moby website that it isn't to be used for power walking but what about long walls with the dogs etc. I ask as I walk fast and with purpose so is that too much for the moby?
TIA

I'd think it would probably be fine as long as you were using one of the upright holds rather than the cradle one i.e the baby's front is against your chest and their legs are dangling or pressed up against you froggy style. I walk an awful lot and when DS was little would walk fast everywhere, which felt perfectly safe, just needed the occasional adjustment.

My friend used to hike in the Swiss mountains with her DD in a Moby and she used to regularly check the double knot just in case (although you can feel them if it starts to slip.)

Best thing is to test it, walk fast for a bit and check the Moby and get to know its limitations.

I loved mine, I miss having tiny baby heads tucked under my chin and being able to watch them sleep.

It can't be used for power walking? Confused

(What is "power walking"??)

I walked everywhere with my stretchy wrap. I don't see why dog walks would be bad at all.

I also walk fast and with purpose - can't be doing with dawdling along. LO was fine in the Moby. Just make sure as pp said that you are using an upright carry, and they are nice and high and tight.
