Sling for a hefty two year old

Started with a wrap currently using a ring but have started walking further again so need something more supportive (both shoulders) but that I can take said lump out of and put back in easily to suit childish whims. Needs to be front carrying as I tried back carrying and my muscles are all built up for carrying at the front.
Thinking a MT would this be supportive enough? Any other ideas?

I would go for something in a toddler size for a two year old - it will fit their leg length better, as well as having extra height.

Some possibilities to buy new are the Toddler Melkaj (available from www.mamanatura.co.uk and from the maker direct - she also does custom made ones.

The toddler Rose and Rebellion might work if you want buckles, and your 'lump' is tall....they need quite long legs for it (I'd say it's more an age 2.5-3 and above carrier for average length legs)

Or check out somewhere like Natural Mamas for sale or trade for various options that might be harder to get new but are available 2nd hand.

Or a woven wrap would also be a possibility.

I'd also persevere with back carries a bit at a time - you'll build the muscles up and in the end I suspect you'll find the weight distribution easier.

how about a toddler or pre school kinderpack or rose and rebellion.

I use my Ergo for up to 5 miles with my 26 month old (27lbs in weight); he's very happy in it and I can pop him in and out when he wants to walk.
