I managed to get to a sling library yesterday, and am currently wearing LO in a borrowed fleecy calin bleu. Never thought I'd end up with a wrap sling, and still not sure its tied properly, but I love it! And so does she....
Am still going to look for a man-friendly SSC but also have an ergo to borrow so will try that next
