Can you recommend a sling for a newborn - for wearing round the house, not too hot!!

I am looking for a simple sling/ carrier to wear around the house for newborn dc2. I won't be doing long walks with it and want to find one that isn't going to make me too hot, especially with summer on it's way (might be wishful thinking but today was amazingly sunny!).
I know that wraps are well thought of but I just think that I would feel there was too much fabric wrapped around me. I am not keen on carriers because my dd has hip problems and I have been informed that certain carriers aren't great for hips.
So, does anyone have any recommendations??
Thank you!

I had a pouch sling for ds1 (July baby) - mine was this one. Cheap, cheerful. Was fab for just putting on and going about the place though mostly felt I needed a hand to steady him. Managed to breastfeed him in it while pushing dd in the pushchair though! Have a Sa-be wrap this time (lent the other one out!) which is great but ds seems to big now at 11 weeks...

Ringsling. I'm in love with a floppy-soft linen one on loan from local slingmeet, and barely feel DS2's weight in it - he's 17 wks. Broken-in is way to go - ebay? Great for household mooching and jobs, and he always falls asleep. Can you get to a local slingmeet and see which sort you prefer? I found that I like gathered shoulder but pleated makes my shoulder ache.
