Ellaroo, Didymos...????

Hi!

I'm looking for a decent woven wrap for my chunky 8 month old.

I don't want anything too hot as the summer will soon be on us, so the stretchy wrap I had for DD when she was little is out!

Any thoughts on Ellaroos? They are sooo much cheaper than Didymos, surely there is a reason?

Or are there any brands I'm missing?!

I have a storchenwiege which is LOVELY!

it's worth getting a second hand one, whichever you go for though, as it'll be broken in already, and a bit cheaper!

didymos are lovely. ellaroos are thinner and a bit less supportive, but nothing wrong with them at all... all depends on you really, and an ellaroo might be better in the heat anyway

if it's very hot you might want a gauze wrap like a calin bleu or gypsy mama

Ellaroo is thinner so better with heat but I do find that my ellaroo is not as comfortable with a heavy child than my didymos. She is 2 though and a heffalump Grin.
