Help needed with babasling and mobywrap

Hi, I have one of each of these and need help with both! When I put my daughter in the babasling I feel like she is too slumped down, but I am really struggling to get her in the moby. It feels like I am wrestling her in and I can't get her comfy. What am I doing wrong? She is six weeks old.

God I love my Moby but the only thing I can say is you have to practice the holds - promise you will go on autopilot with it soon!

Hello - it's a bit difficult on here as it's hard to post pictures but if you go to www.thebabywearer.com they have loads of pictures, tutorials and advice on how to tie / wear wraps and slings.

you might be tying the moby too tight. it should be clothes tight, rather than really, really snug...

I love my Babasling and use mine everyday! With a bit of practice, you'll never go out without it.

They have great instructional pics on their website. Go to www.thebabasling.com and follow the links to "how to" then "step-by-step" and there you will find photos of every position. Also, check out YouTube, there are a few videos up...YouTube Babasling.

Good luck!

Natural Mamas is a great site for help too, it's the UK equivalent to The BabyWearer linked to above.

I agree that YouTube videos are a great way of learning. Moby also have videos on their website.

IMO the Moby is far more comfortable and supportive than the BabaSling.

I love my moby but i got the hang of it by watching videos on youtube. I really recommend it as I found that pictures didn't make it clear enough for me :)

Thanks everyone for all your advice. Will keep perseverong with the moby and give the babasling another try too. The trouble withthe moby is I don't want to try her on it when she's already crying but when shes happy I don't dare attempt to wrestle her into it for fear of disturbing the peace!
