Sling & sunshine

My DD loves being in a sling and we use a Baby Bjorn and have just got an Ergo Baby. I realised that, unlike a pushchair with a hood and parasol, when we are out the sun shines in her eyes. What is the solution to this? She is 5 months old now. Also is there any way of avoiding covering her in sunscreen when using a sling in summer? I don't want to have to give her a bath every day to get it off.

Baby banz sunglasses? Though my dd1 wouldn't wear them!

Also just have her facing you.

Def facing in and a sunhat

Big hat (one for you and her) and facing in works. I put sunscreen on DS every day last summer and didn't find I had to bath him every night. The sling will cover the main body so it's only arms, legs, neck and face you need to do anyway so can always wash them down with a flannel if you really want to.
