Sling/ carrier for dad with one arm

I'd really appreciate your expert help to find the right sling or carrier for by DH. He has one full arm and one that finishes at the elbow. We'd both love to carry our baby (due Feb) for closeness, but also convenience for DH so that he has hand free etc.

Can anyone recommend a carrier or sling that he would be able to put on, adjust and put baby in, whilst only using one arm (although he could use shorter arm just to support baby)?
Thanks in advance for your help.

It depends how good his control of his shorter arm is, but maybe a Baba Sling might be easiest. I have one of these, a Moby wrap and a Baby Bjorn. DH prefers the Baby Bjorn, but I find getting DD in and out of it a real hassle, so probably not that one. The wrap type are brilliant but fiddly to get on so probably rule that out too. Have a look at ring slings too.

Good luck. :)

Thanks LLG, I really appreciate you taking the time to reply. :) His control of shorter arm is great and he's very strong, just fiddly things that are an issue. I'll have a look at babasling.

Any other thoughts v welcome:O

If I were you I would go to a sling meet-up (depending where you live) and try on other people's slings. Or ask around friends and see if you can borrow a variety to try.

this website is really good for different slings.

I was going to say the same thing, go to a sling meet up and try as many out as you can.
