Close baby or moby?

It's up to you ladies, I really can't decide for myself. I've narrowed it down to a Moby or Close Baby but I can't decide between them.

I'm not being lazy- I've been on babywearer/ sling meet websites, done my research, read lots of threads, asked sling shops for advice and my brain is now hurting!

It will be a new baby treat from my sister and she says the price difference isn't an issue.

So I'm putting it to the vote.

TIA

Close baby for me.
My friend had a moby for baby No1 but has just sold that and bought a close for No2 as had a play around with mine and prefers the close carrier.

2 votes there!!

Thanks!

Can I ask what you liked about it?

Thank you. So are there no dangly bits on the Moby then?

I can't believe I said dangly bits Blush

I meant annoying tails.

I loved the Close and although the tails were a bit annoying, I just tied them (can't remember whether round the front or back now) and that kept them out the way.

DD was a little baby who liked being held, and I would carry her round for hours in the close in fact i still use it occasionally for DD and she's almost 17 months now - can't rate it highly enough. However, no experience of mob so can't compare the two. HTH.

I would love to go to a sling meet but the last one near me was cancelled. I'll be overdue by the next one but will head down if DS2 hasn't made an appearance.

Thanks both, all your comments help :)

I think the moby is better Grin I'm not a fan of combination type slings though.

Another vote for the close, so comfy for both of us. Used to tie up tails or fiddle with them! Was supset when DD finally was too heavy for it - about 18 months I think.

Borrowed a close - didn't get on with it at all. One of the key things for me with carrying is being able to bf easily. The bf hold in the close involves putting it on completely differently than just carrying so not easy when out to just swap from feeding to carrying and then back. Also I liked with moby being able to just strap it on and then pop baby in and out but leave the wrap on me iyswim. The rings in the close sort of dug in and it irritated me when dd wasn't in it. Lastly I think moby better because I'm a heifer. Closemight suit slimmer mums better.
