Babasling - too small??? Help!

Have bought one and really can't get the hang of it! I want it mainly for round the house with baby in breastfeeding position.

However he just seems too big for this (only 7wk old). How on earth do you adjust it correctly. Just doesn't seem enough fabric no matter what I do!

Anyone sucessfully using one?

There are loads of instructional videos on youtube and i think there are some on the babasling website, which are apparently really helpful....Hope this helps!!

i found that it only really works for us in the koala cuddle position, baby upright facing you. but they need some head control, so not suitable for tiny ones. my dd2 wouldn't settle in the 'sleeping tiger position', although was ok (ish) in 'easy tiger'. have alook at the website. it is indeed pretty useful.

i put a thread in the breast feeding and bottle feeding forum asking exactly the same thing! take a look,there's some good advice on it (which is basically that we've both invested in a not very good sling

am trying to work out which one to get now as a replacement, i want one for exactly teh same reason- to use round the house...

I found the babasling great when he was very small, but a ring sling much better and more flexible now he is bigger

I tried and hated the babasling for the same reason. I now use a clse baby carrier (mainly for chores around the house - used it since DD was 10 days old) and LOVE it.

I'd recommend a proper ring sling, rather than a babasling sorry. I don't think I've come across anyone who's found the Babasling any good :(
