this seems to be one of the few sscs that seems to have darts in the fabric to make a better seat. now this seems like a v good idea. anyone got any feedback on it?

also, patapum toddler: some people complain about fiddly straps to get the legs through, is this so?

and i hear good things about rose and rebellion ... or should i get a manduca ... or a boba. help! too much choice!

ds is nearly 11 months, very long and v wriggly and i'd like an ssc so i can carry him on my back. he hated my baba sling as a newborn (and still does) but really liked facing out in ababy bjorn so he could see what's going on (hated facing in)

any thoughts/feedback gratefully received

i don't have an oh snap but i do have a babyhawk and a toddlerhawk and they are my most used mei tais. i LOVE them

Trouble is dh is keen to carry him too and there is no way in a million years I'd get him tying a mei tai! There's a new oh snap (silly name) in camouflage pattern which looks quite cool - there would be no accusations there of 'poncy girly patterns'

you could get a custom oh snap! nice side for you and a manly side for dh

On the contrary I have a Babasling and find my child drops off as soon as he is put in it.

i guess that's what i kinda hoped would happen with the babasling ... but no.

I've got a babyhawk but tend to use the ergo now that DD is 18 months. The babyhawk was red butterfly fabric one side and black on the other so DH used to wear it with black side facing out.

I've got a Rose and Rebellion and it's great. They've got some really pretty designs and you can reverse it and have the black side showing. Bought it to carry my 11 month old and mostly carry her on my back but can still carry her on my front in it. My two and a half year old has also been in it a couple of times when she's been tired and can carry her in it without really feeling it.
