It really is the only way
SW say spuds, pasta and rice are free - ie not weighed - but that only works for bigger people .
When I started at 11.5 stone, half a bag of pasta was normal for me - with oil and cheese
Obviously as the weight decreased I noticed the weeks I had the huge pile of pasta - I STS or gained, now I eat a normal size portion
But that's what SW is about, setting the guidelines and letting you work it out
Cos if you went on a "diet" and got told nope, you cant have, its not going to last.. SW says fill your boots, and slowly over time your eating habits change , changes which will last , which become second nature and you keep the weight off
Well its working for me ( says she's who's been hanging all day and has totally carbed out ) but tomorrow - back on plan
