Has anyone joined the club but not followed the diet?

So first of all, I've been a member of SW in the past. I loved the diet and was the healthiest and most in control I've ever been!
But then I had my son and my marriage broke down and thjngs have changed. C'est la vie!
I've been calorie counting at home and find it much more suitable for my life and budget. As much as I advocate SW, I fall of the wagon because I don't have the money to buy everything fresh or I just don't have the time to prep. I've found it easier to be healthy by calorie counting.
But the thing is that those in person weigh ins really motivate me. I can't stay on track and I feel like maybe jointing again but following CC?
Has anyone done this before? I feel like a fraud in doing so! I know both diets work, but I just need those weekly goes to keep me going!

Hi! I'm in a similar predicament, joined with a 12 week countdown but haven't really followed the diet but I've lost 10lbs. I decided to get an additional 6 weeks just to keep motivated and I think SW will be good for helping to maintain. I've got 6 lbs to lose to my goal.

I used to follow WW but weigh in at SW as the meetings were more convenient. Do what works for you.

I do a combination of both calorie counting and SW. I got a weigh diary from Etsy and keep a log of what I eat. And add up the calories., I stopped for quite a while but started again. It's much better than the sheets. I try and have only 2 healthy a' s and 2 b's. If I have extra then I count as syns.

I go to SW as there are no longer any WW within a 20 minute journey. I’m not following the diet but want the accountability, the weigh in etc.

I used to understand points from WW one ye olde days - after that era it all became gobbely gook. I use my fitness pal to track and watch macros and the weigh ins keep me motivated.
