Hi everyone, I'm really keen to loose some (a lot) of weight and I'm thinking of giving sw a go. However, before I sign up is it really worth doing it online? What all do you get and how is your weight loss measured?

I've not done it online but hopefully this will give it a bump!

I think you get all the booklets of the plan posted out to you and an online forum.

I might even join a group, found one not to far from me. Do you get booklets and apps etc to help you along the way?

Yes you get booklets and the consultant goes through the plan with you the first week. The app has recipes, tips and items about people who've lost weight. There are also podcasts and exercise videos.

just be sensible, some of slimming world's "theories" are seriously suspect, and the idea that any food is a syn is just plain wrong!
