Only lost 1 measly lb 😓

Hello all,
I started last Monday, I have been eating porridge with fruit every morning. Home made vegetable soup for lunch and stir fry and meat for tea. I have kept milk to moderation. I only had one bag of crisps Saturday night. Where have I went wrong?
I know people will say a pound is still a loss but I go up and down a pound or more everyday.
I have always low carbed and it has worked but it's just not sustainable for me.
Can I have some feed back where I'm going wrong please?

Also a bit weird but is it your period week ? I never lose much weight when I am due my period, also I often find (sorry TMI) but I often don't poo everyday when I restart slimming word and it does make a difference to my weight Blush

I dont drink alcohol at all. Well I weighed myself this morning and I am 146lbs so I've actually lost 2lbs. 1lb down from yesterday 😬 it must have been fluid. I'm happy to loose 2lb a week 😎

That's good. Loads of things cause fluid. I took some medication yesterday and gained a lb overnight.

I find eating more protein for breakfast helps. Out of interest how tall are you? Just curious as I’d love to be 10st 7!😊

You need to eat more and use syns. If you only had one packet of crisps assuming 5/7 that’s 7/105

I need to have at least 10 syns a day if I want to lose. No idea why!

But remember to use your syns, have your Healthy extra. I always put 1/2 speed on my plate then have a quarter for carbs and a quarter for protein. It's how the plan works.

This in spades! Why are you bothering with SW if you are going to count calories, not have your syns and actively avoid pasta and potatoes? Confused

What’s your height OP? Sorry if you’ve already said but I can’t see it anywhere

It is important to know what your body burns to calculate how many cals to be eating

For example, my body burns 1400 ish calories a day (assuming no exercise) so eating any more than that and I would gain weight.

Google has many straight forward calculators for this.
