Hello, I'm new to slimming world, my friend gave me her starter pack & I've joined online, but I'm not really understanding it all!

Things like pasta say they're free, but also say it has a syn value, the same with rice? So is it free, or a syn?

Thank you

Thank you, so many people has said how easy it is, but I'm struggling to understand it all (I must be really thick!)

If you are following the extra easy plan, then they are free. Originally there was a red/green option where they had different values but few people use them now.

Come join us on here. I. Am getting so many good ideas www.mumsnet.com/Talk/slimming_world/3570423-Does-anyone-fancy-a-SW-what-have-you-eaten-today-thread

It is free when you buy it dry, but the fresh stuff you buy from the fridge has a syn value. Same with rice it’s free when you buy it dry but the micro pouches have Syns.
