Hi I'm
Just wondering apart from all good health reasons that come from losing weight.. do you feel happier now in your self ? As In more confidence, calmer, happier ?
I feel so low in myself I can't even recognise myself and want to be happier and thinking weight loss will hopefully help! Thanks 😗

Yes, all of the above. I lost 4 stone and cannot tell you how much better I feel about myself and how much better I feel physically. I’ve enjoyed the last year a million times more than the previous 5 years put together.

Good luck :)

I reckon this photo of me shows it all really. I've gained so much confidence in myself!

@Groovee you look amazing well done Grin

Yes I'm happier with my appearance I now enjoy rather than dress clothes shopping, parties, going out etc but I'm (luckily) a naturally up-beat and optimistic person so hard to say if it's made me happier as a person as I wasn't unhappy with anything bar my appearance before.

ETA I've also found exercise for pleasure and that has undoubtedly had a bigger impact on my overall well-being not to mention ability to keep the weight off long-term.

Hi, I've lost 6st7lb and I'm a lot happier. I have more confidence in my self and it's so nice to be able to go in a clothes shop and find my size. Took me a while to realise how much I actually lost as I was still shopping for bigger sizes. Plus I have loads of energy to run after my nearly 3 year old xx

Yes, I only had 2 stone to lose so I appreciate that doesn't seem a life changing amount, but to love your body again, respect it, have the confidence back it really does change how I think about myself and my general outlook. For me it's also about control, I feel much more in control of my life. It's been over 6 months since I lost it, I have managed to maintain because I've changed my ways (though eat without monitoring but can make more sensible choices) it's not just about how I look but how I treat my body.
