Wedding Help

Second week on SW. Lost 2.5 on my first weigh in but wanted a bigger one this week.
Going to a wedding on Saturday.
Need to stick to plan as much as poss but already gone over syns a little bit with chocolate this week, so want to be good at this wedding and not go into fuck it mode which I am good at doing.
I'm having the veggie option which is stuffed peppers (10.5 syns on app) unknown starter and unknown dessert.
My plan is to eat the starter and syn it, leave the dessert and drink diet soft drinks.
I was going to take some free snacks so I won't be tempted by canopes but where will I eat these without looking crazy or antisocial haha!
I weigh on a Monday so a bad day on Saturday will ruin it. Help and advice needed please!

Not sure this is the advice you want but think of slimming world as the long game - go out an have fun at a wedding, and get straight back on it the next day. Maybe up your exercise this week, and get dancing on Saturday night to burn off the calories. It's a way of life being slim, and if you deprive yourself you are much less likely to stick to this is the long term. You've made some good choices already, so be kind to yourself x

Also, it doesn't matter when you weigh really! If it's just a one off blip, the weightless will catch up the following week

I think you may look a bit nuts if you take your own food for canapé time, sorry.

In these circs I try to copy my skinny friends, who have exactly the same plate full as me but leave the pastry/ potatoes/ cream/ whatever. It's difficult when the good bits are THERE, so sometimes I shovel them off to DH's plate as soon as i get it. He doesn't mind!

Have you heard of SP days? Do as many of them as you can in what is left of this week and then your approach for Saturday seems fine. (Basically no free food at all, half the plate is protein and half is speed food, have two HexB instead of one, syns and HexA as normal)
