ON PLAN MAY.. who's with me?!

MilkyCoffeeAndSkinnySyrup · 30/04/2018 20:31

April has been a complete write off for me. I'm on plan, then off plan, and back and fourth and I have a stone to lose! I just keep messing about and I've had enough! Can we do this in May everyone?! Post our meal plans and our ups and downs on here?

Let's all do it, and at the end of May we can find out how much we've lost in a whole month and share amongst us!

Curly1975 · 11/05/2018 17:10

Flutterby81 · 12/05/2018 06:19

@mrsOh hope all goes well and it’s bothing to worry about keeping my fingers crossed for you .
@milkycoffee I don’t eat that many o my really but them when they are on offer and fancied the Bakewell tart one usually I have natural yoghurt and fruit but never considered about the sugar in them before kind of just presume as they are free they are ok so thank you Smile
Made enchilada lasagne from pinch of nom for dinner last night and was a hit with the whole family will definetly make it again I had to use normal wraps and syn them rather than ww ones though as my tin was too big Grin

MilkyCoffeeAndSkinnySyrup · 13/05/2018 21:35

@Flutterby81 I really need to try that! Seen it everywhere on Instagram and it looks increeeedible!

How's everyone's weekend been? Mine... not so good :( seriously I can't believe I keep doing this! It's weekends! I am too lazy to make lunch for work then when I go to work I have to eat what they have which is really not SW friendly! I really have made a promise to myself now that I am going to do one full week on plan and also freeze leftovers so I can take it for lunch! It's ridiculous because it's all about bloody preparation and that's what I've not done... only letting myself down! :(

Morning everyone weekend was ok finally had a loss this morning 1lb off not much but all helps I guess! I’m eeally hoping for a couple of pounds off each week from now.
@mikycoffee I feel your pain preparation and lunches for work are what I fail on too every week I promise myself Il be more organised so far it hasn’t happened, determined il do it this week planning to batch cook and freeze a few meals and be more organised for stuff to take for work lunches.i did freeze 2 pots of leftover bolognaise this week so it’s a start We can do it Smile
Good luck to everyone for this week

Shutityoutart · 14/05/2018 06:21

I think I need this thread. I’ve lost about 16lb so far but been on it since before Xmas so it’s slow. That’s mainly because I’m good during the week and then it falls apart at the weekend. I know I’m on for a gain tonight. I’m going on holiday at the end of June and wanted to have another stone off.
I suppose this weekend was different as we were out for a meal on Friday but the rest of the week I’ve been really good!

Flutterby81 · 14/05/2018 17:32

Well done @shutit that’s a great loss so far Smile

MilkyCoffeeAndSkinnySyrup · 14/05/2018 23:09

@Flutterby81 absolutely agree there! I am definitely planning my meals! Using my slow cooker. Tomorrow I am going to do slow cooker Bolognese and freeze most of it, the next day will be Mayflower Chicken Curry and then then following day I am going to do slow cooker pulled pork and also do a crust less quiche using Arla Garlic And Herb Quark which is only 1 syn for the whole tub! That's my weekend meals sorted then! I am doing it this time... I can't keep letting myself down! My weight loss is starting to slow down because of it. The scales show a gain of +4lb Sad it's also Star week so that doesn't help!

@Shutityoutart well done on the weight loss so far hun! You're smashing it :)

I've had a perfect on plan day! For breakfast I had chocolate porridge oats with blueberries which was 2 syns and my hexB. I also had watermelon afterwards! For lunch I had Aldi Singapore noodles (2), skyr yogurt (1), a pear and a satsuma. For dinner I've had carrot chips, wild rocket, Quorn Peppered steaks, onion and cheese (all speed and Syn Free).

I had some more watermelon afterwards as a "dessert". Ending the day on 5 syns! I always try and make sure I have at least 5 syns and not less.

After an absolutely disastrous week and weekend I've managed to pretty much stay on plan this week so far...apart from a few glasses of wine last night. Planning on being so good this weekend for weigh in on Monday - was so bad last weekend that I couldn't face weigh in last monday Blush

Having BBQ tonight so that'll be chicken skewers, 5% fat burgers and salad, baby potatoes etc

Martinimonster · 17/05/2018 18:47

All I want to do is binge eat. There are loads of crisps in the cupboard.
I spent 7.5 syns on an aero bar today and it was to die for and there is two packs of them there Shock it's all I can think about.

Today I had a banana for breakfast as I went for a run so i needed a fairly empty stomach.
Lunch was grilled bacon on toast and I ate a nectarines and the aero bar and a small packet of crisps 4 syns.
Dinner was chicken and veg curry with rice. Lots of veg in the curry like cauliflour peppers potatos and onions.
Pudding was a Syn free quark yogurt.

MilkyCoffeeAndSkinnySyrup · 17/05/2018 21:58

I've been on plan from Monday to Today.. so far! I've had between 5-10 syns apart from today I've had 14.5 syns so still within my syn allowance. I've also Been upping my speed foods. I've been eating watermelon satsumas, blueberries, strawberries etc and plenty of water top.

I've also batch cooked a slow cooked pull pork, a huge portion of speedy chicken Chow Mein, and cooked a broccoli and ham quiche today. So I've got absolutely no excuse to go off plan now! Got enough to keep me going for lunch at work and also dinner time when I get home. I've also got quick meals in the cupboards including curried lentils from Aldi which is only 2.5 syn a pouch and takes about 3 mins in the microwave! Got frozen cauliflower rice so will be using that with it cos I know by Saturday I am going to really want to raid the cupboards for something to binge on... I won't do it! I. Will. Not. Do. It. Grin

So that's it now. I've been craving the biscuits and the chocolates but I'm saying no means no. I can't sabotage myself now. I've had a brilliant week so far, I am going to continue with it because I'm keen to find out what the scales are going to say on Wednesday! (My weigh day is Wednesday).

My meals today are as follows:

B: double bacon and egg sandwich using my hexB and flora Light (1), one hash brown (2), and a hot chocolate (2).

L: skyr yogurt (1), 3 baby bel lights (hexA), and a satsuma.

D: syn free chicken chow mien, SW chips, mushrooms and mayflower curry sauce (4).

Snacks:
1 Alpen Light (3), 1x Choco Bon (1.5),

Ending the day on 14.5 syns.
