Anyone lost nothing for ages then had a big loss? I'm getting so fed up.

Back at SW again to try to lose the last half a stone or so I've wanted to lose for years.

Really successful journey last time round so was hopeful.

Small loss after week 1, then nothing for 3 weeks. And I've been following it to the T this time, keeping a food diary, sticking to syns etc. I'm also doing more exercise than I've done in my life.

I'm so disheartened, I'm in tears. Any tips? Positive stories?

Are you checking syns against the syn app on a regular basis as they change quite often?

Do you have 1/3rd of speed on the plate?

Are you eating Muller Lights or any other similar yogurts? I am asking because myself and many other members have had their weight loss stalled because of the high sugar content in these yogurts despite them being 'free')

Lastly, as you're doing body magic, this is most likely the culprit as your body retains water. You should see a bigger loss in a week or two!

Don't be disheartened, you're sticking to the plan and you're very likely losing inches. I reached a plateau, and it was annoying, but the scales will shift again. Good luck.

I lost 5 lbs this week's after wallowing around just out of target for months. I did it properly, really properly double checking everything. I was having 1 syn crackers which turned out to be 3 syns Angry each and I wasn't being honest with myself about A choices I was over estimating by up to 50%. If you're not losing you're not doing it 100% (meducal/hormonal issues aside)

Thanks for your responses.

I had a bit of a 'f**k it' weekend where I ate a load of chocolate and didn't count a syn. First time I've done that since I joined back at SW. Didn't go completely nuts (as in, it could have been worse) but very large Cadbury Easter egg, a load of creme eggs, super chocolatey bake things, banana cake and so on. I did eat healthy meals but went to town on the syns. Actually, maybe I did go a little bit nuts, but I did decline offers of alcohol.

I don't regret a single morsel of chocolate.

Weigh in this morning and I so nearly didn't go but I talked myself into it and it turns out I lost half a lb. Wtf? I now wonder how much more I'd have lost if I'd stuck to plan. I do have a feeling the past couple of days are yet to catch up on me though. But we'll see.

@MilkyCoffeeAndSkinnySyrup - I have maximum of 2 Muller Lights a week so unfortunately not that. It's possible that I'm not eating enough speed food so I'll try to up that this week. I also keep a food diary online so constantly check syn values.

I think I really need to up my water intake (in the form of green tea) as I really struggle to drink anywhere near what I need to. Which is prob not a good thing given I'm exercising...Hmm

Hope you've all had good starts to the week!!

I’m the same but it’s my own fault as I’m in an emotional cycle of not losing then thinking sod it then feeling mortified when clothes don’t fit. Then crying. Then eating. It’s exhausting but that light bulb moment hasn’t hit yet like it did before. And I’m over 40 so fat sticking to me like glue. I’m thinking I need bigger meals but fewer carbs and more protein but don’t eat meat ....so no handy chicken to snack on
Mini quiches might help if I put quorn bacon in maybe. Anyway. I’m sending support as I know how you feel
