Worried I'd be judged for not being big!

I've always found all welcome. People often join to lose a small amount of weight for a specific occasion such as a wedding or holiday.

At many classes there will also be people who are at target who still attend. I hit target at xmas and still go to class most weeks as it helps me keep the weight off

With only 7/8 pounds to lose, just go low carb for 3 weeks :)

ppeatfruit · 06/09/2017 13:34

It's not worth it , just low carb like Decs says and or cut out caffeinated and alcoholic drinks (drink plenty of water and herbal teas instead). Or don't mix carbs and protein at the same meal.

If you do ALL the above you'll lose more than 7 or 8lbs though Grin

I thought you werent allowed to join if you had less than 8lb to lose? Yes, it doesnt seem worth it. You could just go low carb or cut out biscuits or booze and lose 7lb.

Thanks for the help! I'll try giving it a go without then Grin

I think that's harsh. You can't lose 7 or 8lb just by cutting out biscuits, unless you are eating mountains of them on top of a normal calorie allowance. I've recently lost about 11lb and it's the result of a proper lifestyle adjustment. I do mfp and stick to 1200 calories per day.

If you want to join then go for it, I think the accountability is what you need. If you try to low carb alone you might find it hard to stay motivated.

You can if you do what I suggested cedoren I never counted calories and lost well over a stone (without meaning to)!
