Yes

Groovee · 01/08/2017 14:11

Sweetcorn is free and peas are protein so classed as free too.

SheSparkles · 01/08/2017 14:12

Free whether fresh or frozen

SeaSeeker · 01/08/2017 14:36

That's good to know. I've only lost 1lb in my first week and though they might be to blame but maybe not...

Free but not speed I think

FoofFighter · 02/08/2017 08:16

Not speed no so if you've been having them a lot as your veg with meals that will be a factor.

SeaSeeker · 02/08/2017 09:20

So really the only truly 'free' foods are speed foods...

OP posts:
Groovee · 02/08/2017 09:45

Are you having 1/3rd speed food on your plate or were you using the peas and sweetcorn as your 1/3rd?

SeaSeeker · 02/08/2017 10:26

I was using the peas and sweetcorn Confused

Groovee · 02/08/2017 10:37

You need to add speed then. Carrots, courgettes, peppers, mushrooms, onions, broccoli, sugar snap pea, baby corn, spinach, cauliflower, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, radish, beetroot, pickled onions, gherkin are all examples of what you can have.

SeaSeeker · 02/08/2017 10:44

Thank you Groovee - fingers crossed for more than an lb next week!

OP posts:
FoofFighter · 02/08/2017 11:39

Look in your book there's a list of speed fruit and veg near the start, plus maybe have a reread of it all

Groovee · 11/08/2017 10:50

How did you get on this week @SeaSeeker

SeaSeeker · 11/08/2017 14:08

Better thanks @Groovee, another couple of lbs. I'm going away for a couple of weeks so I think I'll struggle to stick to it then but I feel much more like I know what I'm doing now so when I get back I'm knuckling down. At least I know the scales can go down

deedee1971 · 22/01/2018 13:25

please help, I have boiled peas carrots cauli and broccoli and blitzed them for a soup. iv also added boiled potatoes and roasted chicken breast as solid items. would i need to syn this at all?

newyearnewname18 · 22/01/2018 13:29

Deedee, as long as you haven't added any fats or thickeners (flour etc), and no skin on chicken that looks to be syn-free.

Groovee · 22/01/2018 15:14

Looks syn free to me unless you added gravy or oil x
