Couple of questions from a newbie
Toptrumps20 · 07/06/2017 14:31
As the title says. Is the oats so simple original, a hex b choice(the one in the individual sachets) I'm assuming the other ones aren't.
I have quite a few in a large mixed variety packet.
I'm not going to waste them, so I will use and syn if appropriate.
Also, is houmous a hex b choice?
I watched a U tube video where someone doing SW said they used it as a b choice, but I haven't Seen it mentioned anywhere else, and it's not listed in the books.
Thanks for any help.

Not sure about porridge as I make my own.
Houmous is synned but you can make your own from chickpeas and garlic. It would be protein and free.
OwlinaTree · 07/06/2017 22:36
There's a whole list on the app, they have various syn values.
Toptrumps20 · 08/06/2017 07:36
Owlina I don't have the app as I'm doing SW myself at home. Bought the books online.
Thanks Groovee. I will syn houmous then, Or have a go at making the SW version.
I'm going to use the OSS original as a hex b. Can't find a definite answer but sure it will be fine.

Hey folks can I come on board? Loving the support on here. Top trumps the regular size oats so simple original are not a hen as they're too small. The big bowl original oats so simple original are. It says big bowl on the outer packaging! Hope this helps

As seesaw says - the standard size packet no but the bigger size, yes.
There isn't enough fibre in the standard packet.
Houmous is definitely not a B choice - I'm slightly shocked that somebody is posting on YouTube saying it is!

Sorry I didn't realise. List the ones you have and I'll look them up.
