What was the biggest change you had to make to eating habits once you started SW?

For me it was only eating 1 HExB a day and having to severely restrict the amount of avocado I ate, due to their syn value. Also, counting how many nuts I ate, cutting visible fat off meat, buying 5% mince and using Frylight rather than tablespoons of olive oil when cooking.
I'm interested in others' experiences, so how about you? Do tell!

Frylight, wholesale bread realising Brown and granary were a con on the plus side I now love lentils, chickpeas etc and add to everything ditto for Quark.

Bread! Or lack thereof. I lived on sandwiches until I joined. I also thought I didn't like vegetables too which is odd because I love them now!

Love bread (any kind) and butter.
It can be incorporated into the SW plan, with healthy extras and syns, but not in the quantities I would really like!

I gave up bread, cheese and walkers cheese and onion crisps. I now eat more variety of fruit and veg than I ever did before. Use one cal spray instead of oil, now use my slow cooker regularly it had pretty much just sat on a shelf in my kitchen before and use my microwave veg steamer daily. Apart from that I still eat about the same amount of food I just make better choices.

I hardly eat pizza except for a rare treat, I use Fry Light, I eat loads more fruit and veg and I eat chocolate by the cube instead of by the bar.

I recognise a few of these. I'm intolerant of wheat, so wasn't eating bread when I started SW. Occasionally I have Genius multiseed. Definitely eat chocolate by the cube now as well. I wish there was a lactose free quark as I'm lactose intolerant too. Anyone else care to share?

White bread especially as toast with butter. Would rather not have bread than eat wholemeal. Cheese is what ever is allowed with HEA.
No ice cream but that's because I choose wine over the ice cream. Not enough syns for both.
In general my lunch and evening meal were pretty healthy but it was all the crap I ate inbetween
