Hi all - Wanting to join today - Im busy and there are meetings near my house and near my work. If I join as a meeting member, can I switch classes for my weekly weigh in?

Also, I am a big user of apps and online content. Is the Members online service the same as an online member? Is the app for both the same? I am keen to have data and recipes at my fingertips.....
Any advice / experience would be amazing.....TIA

Hi Susan,
You can go to any class, just take your members card with you.
You get online access when you go to group. They give you a pass code to sign up then its just email address sign in. All recipes, syns etc are there.
You can log your progress etc it makes a little graph for you. Mine looks like a heart monitor.
Personally I can follow a group but not online. You have to be true with yourself if you do it at home.
Is that helpful.

Susan and annielostit - I am considering joining SW too - but was thinking about joining online, as I am not good at making myself go out to things (history of depression makes me a bit wary of new social situations).

If I join as an online member, can I go to a local group occasionally, to weigh in (if I can work up the nerve), or would it be better for me to join a group, get the online access, and then only go to the meetings when I could face them?

Sdt, If you can work up the nerve to get to a group do that. You can go, sit at the side and see if you'll like it before joining. The consultants are there for you.
They're a friendly bunch in all the ones I've attended, don't be afraid. Depression is so unkind, as no one sees what your going through. No one will judge you and it might help a little. Good luck.x
