I've lost 5 stone in total with slimming world, been on the plan for 2 years and have been struggling but on target for a year. the trouble is i just can't seem to stop my self shovelling anything and everything in at the moment. I'm thinking about actually taking a step back to take some pressure off myself but really don't know what the best thing to do is. can anyone give me advice!? surely i'm not the only one.

I've been on SW just over a month and am currently having the same issue. I started off really motivated but I just find it a real battle when we are socialising. One bite of chocolate or crisps and I just crave it all day!

Don't know if it will help but have you thought about letting yourself have what you want for one day and then going back to plan? I find sometimes you just have to let yourself have what you want and then draw a line under it.

Wow, that's a great loss, well done! I'm at 5.5lbs so that in stone is a fantastic achievement.
Have you got any old clothes/photos you can look at to remind you how far you have come?

Do you still go to meetings and weigh in? It might be worth staying at a couple of meetings to get you back in the mindset again.

Are you eating synned food, rubbish or just eating what you fancy. Are your meals not filling you up?
We all have a misconception of sw being a diet but we know its a change in total.
I think when we're at target we sneak things back in and there's the change back to old habits.
I would get your book out and go back to basics. Like starting the plan again. Act like a new member.
My theory is no syns before lunchtime and make sure I've got chopped/frozen fruit in the fridge. My 11am cuppa demands a bickkie but I'm not letting it. Also make your meal plan for a couple of days so you know where the next meals coming from. Let us know how your doing, one day at a time.

This is me. I lost 4st. Kept off most for three years but am 8-9lbs over target now and have been for a year. Trousers don't fit me and I feel fat in several dresses Sad.

Have eaten crap this evening after a day of sensible SW meals and planned syns. Will feel terrible tomorrow and the cycle will begin again.
