Your top 5 super free / free food snacks

Sylvana · 29/10/2014 18:48

Hi everyone, I joined SW 3 weeks ago, doing the extra easy plan.
Can I ask you to share your top 5 snacks that you rely on ? Mine are:

Apples
Bananas
0% fat free Activia vanilla yogurts
Eggs
Beans

I reach for these when hungry and in a hurry. I think I depend on them too much though ... I'm afraid of getting fed of of them so I am looking for other ideas. Can you share your favourites with me ?

I buy melons and cut them up into chunks, then put them into small pots in the fridge. These I find easy to snack on when hungry. I sometimes add a few grapes or strawberries (especially when in season) for a bit of variety.
The best flavour melon I think is the Piel de Sapo, which although a little bit more expensive is bigger & therefore good value.

I tend to make a fruit salad up and keep it in the fridge. It usually has strawberries, grapes, blueberries, raspberries and melon.

Melon
Satsumas
Eggs
Grapes
Chicken

I ate 3 eggs today...possibly a bit excessive! I love hard boiled eggs! I don't like eating them during the week though as my colleagues complain that they stink the office out!

We made the SW hummus & tzatziki tonight & had it with chunks of carrot, celery, cucumber & baby peppers. It was gorgeous. I had a weightwatchers wholemeal pitta as my heathy B.

I make hummus and also like pease pudding spread on celery for a savoury snack. Grapes rolled in sugar free jelly crystals and frozen are lovely or mix a white chocolate options in quark (about 3 suns for whole pot) and dip apple wedges in - feel hungry now!
