When did your baby drop to one nap?

My 11 month old is crazed with trying to climb everything and babble just now. He's started refusing naps in the morning entirely and then only sleeping once in the middle of the day -and not for long! Do you think this will be a phase or a nap transition?! Help!

11m is early for single nap days, but mot unheard of.

Assuming baby is sleeping through and sleeping well at night, then I'd go with it. Keep trying the morning nap but dont worry if its refused.

DD1 went down to 1 nap at 10 months but was comfortable with that, she was never much of a napper!!

DS2 went to 1 nap at 12 months but he struggled a bit and was really only comfortable on the 1 nap when he was 15 months.

I guess they are all different!

My lo was 15 months. We did 10mins in morning or she was horrendous 😳 then 1pm till 3pm. Then I had 2 weeks off in July and just went for it.

16m but slightly forced as they were starting nursery and they couldn't cope with 2 nap a dayers.

I think if left naturally it would have been 18 months as she was late transitioning from 3 to 2 naps.

Dd had just turned one when she dropped down to one nap. I could tell it was coming as for about 3 weeks, her sleep was all over the place and the 2nd nap was getting shorter and shorter. Once she had dropped the 2nd nap, she would then just have one long one for 2 hours.

She recently turned 3 and has dropped napping altogether now!
