Early riser

I have twin boys 3.5, both good night-time sleepers, but one very early riser. I probably shouldn't complain, as they sleep through from around 7pm most nights, but DS2 will wake around 5-5.30 full on wanting to play etc, whilst DS1 typically doesn't wake until 7-7.30. We have blackout blinds, special clocks etc but doesn't seem to affect/interest DS2.

So, my two problems are: DS1 is cranky as he is getting rudely awoken about 2 hours before he wants/needs; whilst no night waking I don't really think DS2 is getting enough sleep as he is cranky/grumpy through the day.

Any ideas for getting him to sleep longer in the morning (or should we just put him to bed earlier and us too so that we get more sleep)

No advice really as we have the exact same problem with ds (same age)

I have heard of the wake to sleep method though and also the bunny clocks so he'd have to stay quiet until say 7am.
