Silly question about co-sleeping

When you lie in the 'normal' co-sleeping position with one arm by your head and your knees bent, what do you do with your other arm - the one furthest away from the bed?

I can't seem to work out where to put mine comfortably! If I'm not co-sleeping, I have my comfort object (okay, my old teddy bear ) tucked into my elbow, but if I do the same thing when co-sleeping, it would be DS's head tucked between my elbow/armpit, which doesn't seem that great. DS is 6 months.

I either have it straight down the side of my body or loosely across DS's side/back.

Thanks!
