Finally finished sorting out DD's bedroom so it can accommodate her younger brother. He is happy to play in this room whilst I have a shower in the morning. Today he was interested whilst I put his 'Bob the builder' toy on his bed with Thomas duvet stuff. He had a play and I read to him and gave him a nurse, to make him feel it was his space.

Tried to put him down to sleep in the new room tonight with his sister, she fell asleep (eventually) and he didn't got bored and started shouting for us, so I cuddled him to sleep on the sofa and DH carried him back upstairs asleep.

So the bet is how long will our co-sleeping breastfed but night weaned nearly 2 year old sleep in his new room ? He is happily snoring ATM and has been asleep for an hour, they look so cute

I am hoping for 2am before he comes to find me ?!? Fingers crossed as we have around a month to get him fairly happy to at least start the night in his new bed before his new sibling arrives. I think he is ready now, so lets see what happens.
