rolling onto front - should I do anything?

hello, my DD is nearly five months and has just figured out how to flip from back to front. she's always been fine sleeping on her back but the last couple of nights I've found her on her front in the morning.

please tell me there's not much I can do if she sometimes rolls over in the middle of the night?? still have all the lectures about beck-sleeping ringing in my ears.

thanks ...

There's not much you can do - you could put a rolled towel down to stop her rolling over, but I think that the advice is that if they are able to roll over they are fine.

FSID advice:
My baby keeps rolling onto his front. What should I do?
If your baby is less than six months old and you find him sleeping on his tummy, gently turn him onto his back. Don?t feel you need to keep getting up all night to check on this. Whatever your baby?s age, always place him to sleep on his back.

thanks - that seems fair enough. sleep can be elusive enough already without me actively getting up to check on her ...

Be glad she'll sleep happily on her front and hasn't't woken you!
