my DD was sleeping between 6-8 hours straight through, which I now is a miracle (she is 9 weeks) but had been doing it for 2.5 weeks......since the weather warmed up we are back to a 4 hour stretch then 2/2... is this because she is thirsty due to the heat?? could her longer stretches return when the weather gets cooler? I'm hoping so!

My guess is that it's a coincidence! Or perhaps she's waking up a bit too hot - thinner blankets?

Probaby not thirst - maybe she's just hot or could be a growth spurt and needing more food? It's hard to know when they're so young. Try a fan in the room. That worked miracles with my two on hot nights, plus the noise made them sleep...whirrrrrrrr
